Acrylic painting on watercolor paper. At the end of my Art Center studies, I made this for my contact sheet, as artists often created for themselves before the internet and the rise of websites. Books for a young mind can be the source and inspiration to vast worlds and new characters. I still keep a large collection of books for motivation. I had my whole life as a professional artist to look forward to, and I was taking my imagination with me – a collection of monsters, dragons, trolls, spirits, and magicians.
